Kathleen Geiszler – Attorney/Associate

Kathleen Geiszler (Katie) focuses her practice on real estate transactions, estate planning, and estate administration. Katie is experienced in conducting residential and commercial transactions, including new construction, resales and refinances. Katie centers her estate planning practice on drafting wills, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and trusts, including revocable, irrevocable, and special needs. In estate administration Katie guides families through the probate process advising on how to successfully close a loved one’s estate.

Before entering into private practice Katie prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases as a Deputy Attorney General at the Delaware Department of Justice as well as represented the Department of Education. She has practiced before the Justice of the Peace Court, Family Court, Court of Common Pleas, Superior Court and the Court of Chancery.

Katie attended Northeastern University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in History and Environmental Studies. Following her undergraduate education, Katie earned her Juris Doctorate as well as her Master of Arts in History from Syracuse University. While in law school she clerked with the Delaware Family Court in both New Castle and Sussex counties. Katie is admitted to the Delaware Bar and is a member of the Delaware Bar Association as well as the Sussex County Bar Association.

Katie, a native to Delaware, enjoys going to the beach, travelling and playing with her dog Lady.
